There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book.
Books are well written, or badly written. That is all.

Cas Lisko is a PhD student in the English literature program at the University of Alabama.

Her research interests include Victorian literature and culture, often focusing on race, gender, and sexuality in adaptation.

Cas is a two-time recipient of the Louise B. Tate Memorial Endowed Scholarship for American Studies, and she received a Graduate Council Fellowship from the University of Alabama in 2022.

Her past research projects include a web-presentation exploring intersectionality and a physical presentation about the relationship between sexuality and agency in Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (for which she won first place in Fine Arts and Humanities at the University of Alabama Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference in April 2022).

Her ongoing projects include the web archive Thomas Andrews, Shipbuilder, exploring the architect of the Titanic through photos; a critical analysis of Jewishness in the off-Broadway musical Little Shop of Horrors; and an exploration of American influence on the later works of Oscar Wilde.
